Camp Day 2 - Mr and Miss Imo State Pageant

Today marks the official opening/welcome party of the 2016 Mr and Miss Imo State Pageant Camp today at the renowned and prestigious La' Amistad Hotel and Suites along Uwazuruike Street, by Ojukwu Library, Area H, New Owerri, Imo state.
The contestants went on morning jog and fitness exercise which was handled by Bosco, the fitness instructor after which everyone convened at the hall of La' Amistad Suites for some instruction by Mr. Chris Ikokwu, CEO Chris Events.
The beauty kings and queens went on to rehearse their traditional performance in style mixed with fun.

Being a holy day, everyone prepared for service which took place at the Imo State Government House Chapel as the contestants gave a thanksgiving offering to God after worshiping with His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha the Executive Governor of Imo State and several other government functionaries as they were hosted and prayed for by Pastor Bunmi Babs, the Chaplain of Victory Chapel, Imo Government House.

Group photographs were taken as the contestants boarded a bus to return to camp and freshened up for lunch while preparing for their photoshoot. The photoshoot was a huge success as contestants appeared in their best traditional attires depicting the beautiful culture of Nigeria.

Supper was served and choreography lessons began with Cypher who took the beauty kings and queens on an intriguing and yet, fascinating dance moves to amaze the audience on Mr and Miss Imo State Pageant 2016 Grand Finale to take place at Jesus Arena. The lessons were followed by Cat Walk Formation and instruction initiated by Mr. Chris Ikokwu. General discussions were done as contestants had some "small chops" to eat and retired to their rooms for the day.
